About the Role:
Communications Install Solutions Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA! This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in the field, loves solving technical challenges, and takes pride in delivering top-quality installations and service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of communications systems and equipment
- Conduct site surveys and assess technical requirements prior to installation
- Run and terminate cabling including low-voltage, coaxial, and structured wiring
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime for clients
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service reports
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards on every job site
Requirements:
- 1 year + Prior experience in field technician, low-voltage, or communications installation roles preferred
- Working knowledge of structured cabling, A/V, or telecommunications systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced field environment
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-facing demeanor
- GoogleSuite and Xcel proficiency a plus
- OSHA 10 certification a plus
